Seno Gumira Ajidarma is a writer and journalist who lectures in the Jakarta Institute of the Arts (IKJ) and the Faculty of Humanities, University of Indonesia (UI). His fiction and non-fiction have won awards including the SEA Write Award, Dinny O’Hearn Prize for literary translation and the Khatulistiwa Award. In 2013, he received a Cultural Award from Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture.
