Loukia Borrell

Loukia Borrell is a first generation American. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Greek-Cypriot immigrants and earned a Bachelor's Degree in English/Journalism from Elon University in North Carolina. She is a former print journalist. Her writing has appeared in literary journals and anthologies in the United States and United Kingdom, including London Grip, Unfortunately, Literary Magazine, Poetry Life and Times, and Idle Ink. In 2022, her poem, "Throes" was shortlisted for the Patricia Eschen Prize for Poetry, Morrab Library, Penzance, Cornwall. She lives in Virginia. Her published pieces are at www.loukialoukaborrell.com
