Kami Enzie

Kami Enzie (he/him) is a Vienna-born, New Orleans–raised queer Nigerian Filipino writer. Work appears or will soon in Chicago Review, Image, Obsidian, Oversound, The Poetry Review (UK), swamp pink, and elsewhere. His writing won the 2024 poetry contest for the Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival, guest judged by Stephanie Burt. He is an alumnus of Tin House Winter Workshops, Vermont College of Fine Art’s Postgraduate Writers’ Conference, and a 2023 graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. (IG/X: @yungwerther)
