Heather Jessen is a 2022 finalist for the inaugural
Quagmire poetry contest, a 2021 finalist for the
Ruminate broadside prize and the
Atlanta Review poetry contest, and also has poetry appearing in
Connecticut River Review and
Poetry South. She received an MA in Social Work from the University of Chicago and an MFA in Writing For Children from Simmons University. A former resident of Australia, she currently lives in Connecticut and can be found on Instagram at @maxhj1 and Twitter at @hjessenwrites.
